Perturbator Launches Record Label ‘Music Of The Void’

James Kent, also known as Perturbator, has announced the launch of his very own record label named Music Of The Void. The news follows the release of Perturbator’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, Lustful Sacraments, just last week.

Previously signed to the Finnish label Blood Music, Perturbator will now be releasing future records under his own label as well as his side projects L’Enfant de la Forêt and Ruin of Romantics. The latter of the two will be releasing their debut album Velvet Dawn, due for release this summer, on the new label.

Ruin of Romantics, the French-based darkwave band released Blue Sick at the start of the year, which followed up their cover of Laura Branigan’s Self Control. James Kent works alongside Francis Caste, Mehdi Thepegnier and Vincent Mercier, who announced the project at the end of 2020.

The label itself will not be restricted to bands that Perturbator has involvement with, in the tweet announcing the label he said the label will be releasing music of “artists I love”.

For all things Perturbator and music in general, keep it locked on Boolin Tunes.
