Five long years after I See Stars redefined themselves with their 2016 smash hit Treehouse, the band has confirmed they have finished up recording a new record with legendary producer David Bendeth according to Treehouse co-producer Nick Scott on Instagram!
The news of I See Stars’ return to the studio has come as a surprise and a relief to many, after the band’s activity had waned over the past few years, after being one of the most consistently productive bands in the metalcore scene.
The band also confirmed Luke Holland will return on drumming duties for this record, marking the second time he has worked with the band, after providing drum work on 2016’s Treehouse.
Details and release information are yet to be confirmed by the band, but it’s safe to say we’re likely to hear something by the end of the year, so I’d say it’s about high time we went back and spun New Demons and Treehouse, wouldn’t you?
